Changed the oil in the SHO today and I discovered a connector hanging down from the front driver's side of the subframe. It was a round connector with 2 wires; white/orange and black. Is this the connector that powers the secondary air pump? The check engine light is still on but I suppose I need to pass a couple cycles before the computer turns the light off...

I look forward to a response from the guys on this one... My pump has been throwing the code for a while and think its time to figure out why. Not sure what it looks like or where exactly it is.

Yup, that's the connector for the SAI pump.

You will probably need to clear the code, it won't go away by itself. Disconnect the battery for 15 minutes, that'll clear the code.

FML. Check engine light went away the next day and didnt come back on until I was halfway home from the Minnesota SHO meet last weekend. Pulled codes and sure enough the SAI pump is setting the code... Connector is still plugged in. Looks like something else is afoot.
