Not too sure where to post this, but I am finally done school and decided to fix a few oil leaks that have been bugging me on my 91 S/C SHO. I realized that the supercharger itself is losing some oil from around the shaft attached to the pulley. Should I send it out to get new seals in it, or is it something I can take apart and do myself?

Also, if I run the car without the S/C on there, can I just pull the chip out, and put a stock maf and airbox assembly back in? I have never changed fuel rails before, and the car has 48 lb. injectors and an fpr.

I had my winter beater die on me, so if I can't drive without the supercharger, I will deal with the bit of oil that comes out until I fix the other car.

Thanks in advance,
Jessey

Keep the chip and maf in. Its wat it tuned to. It will flood out with a stock tune becuase it will pump in twice the fuel. cause it thinks it has 24# when it acutally has 47#
It should adjust to the air amount and run OK. I will be doing this soon. only to get it to a lift and back to my house. sub-3 mile trip. IMO if u break/threw the s/c belt the car would still run, thats my logic.

I am curious as to wat other have to say.....

That's correct. Your car will assume it's at 12,000 feet and the supercharger is working fine.
