It seems to me that you are looking for a more aesthetically pleasing supercharger then anything. And also sound? Who cares man? If the kit works well, get er :thumb:

Turbos sounds cool......from my back window.

You must be talking about some diesel you jumped out from at a light, because we all know you have never heard a turbo SHO from anywhere but IN FRONT of you!!:laugh_ti:

Where did you supercharger guys get your kits from? I know TXPS has one but i REALLY dont want to have to drive from minnesota to texas. I also dont really like the look of the fps shaft driven kit. So i dont really know where alse to turn. Am i better off going to to a performance shop here and paying like 6-7 grand and having a novi installed or is there another option? Thats ok I am not looking to buy right away i am just weighing my options. Rigth now i like s/c more than turbo( i just like the sound) but I wont be ready for it till next year.

Those were the good ol' days, when all it took was a crappy SS tune, a little T3/4 turbo, and 12 psi to beat a nitroused Vortech'd SHO. Man how times have changed. Good thing I have a much bigger turbo, a completely revamped fuel system, a competent tuning system, and heck, 15psi (maybe more:naughty: ). Take that back, NOW are the good ol' days!

Well we want to get some suspension stuff going first and then improve on the kit so it will be a few months.

I think you have a turbo exhaust leak and the fumes are getting to ya.

Better install a carbon monoxide detector on top of the dash..

Also don't get too big of a cowboy hat...if you remember that was a chilly day when we ran and I had no bottle heater. Probably was getting very little juice.

So yeah you beat a SC SHO with a stock 3.0L and maybe a 15 shot.

Oh yeah how times have changed.

half-way there, I think.
Never fails, these posts turn into a ******* match between Murph and Tim. I know it's all in good fun, but this guy had a legit question and now there are 6 posts that don't pertain it.

For once, I agree with Murph. His question was answered, and there were at least 10-12 OTHER posts that had nothing to do with the topic @ hand.

So, sorry for the non-pertinent post Mr thread starter. As far as answering your legit question, I can wholeheartedly tell you NOT to go to a shop and have them fab up a Novi system. Stick with what is tried and true, as you can get it done for less, and have a wealth of information to draw from.
