Where did you supercharger guys get your kits from? I know TXPS has one but i REALLY dont want to have to drive from minnesota to texas. I also dont really like the look of the fps shaft driven kit. So i dont really know where alse to turn. Am i better off going to to a performance shop here and paying like 6-7 grand and having a novi installed or is there another option?

Those are pretty much your options right now short of custom (you or a shop).

IMO the best thing to do is see if NTP (Tony) will sell you the bracket/piping and buy the blower off eBay and pretty much piece it together. But you must have a good idea of what you're doing and acquiring parts can take time.

Personally, I think the shaft-driven FPS kit is more asthetically pleasing than all the others out there...

I'd like to re-welcome you to the kingdom of SHO-dom, where aftermarket parts are far from plentiful, and many of the awesome projects you see are one-off customs pieces or somewhat costly and limited in numbers. Not trying to sound rude or anything, but like many here have done, become familiar with the "Search" button at the top of the forum page. That button alone holds more knowledge than really any one person on this forum.

And, who's TXPS? I know of NTP, but.....

I think it only sounds better at idle (centrifugal s/c SHO) otherwise I love the sound of a spooling turbo SHO.

i found that a S/C is pretty simple to install on a sho as long as you know what and what not to do.

What you really need is the S/C bracket, and piping. Everything else is pretty easy to deal with:

Back when SHO Shop was still around, I bought the piping, bracket, and pre-fabbed oil lines/fittings and pieced the rest together myself. It's really not that difficult. I think the hardest part of fabbing it yourself would be making the bracket.
