running wrong when cold

the car starts fine and moves from the parking spot fine but it will then start idelling bad and surging. when I hit the gas it drops pretty good and then revs. this makes it really hard to get off the line and shift. A couple of times it just randomly while moving when I pushed in the clutch. once it warms up it runs beautiful.

I would suspect the MAF try cleaning it or even un plug it and see what happens.

the clip that holds it on is broken, maybe its coming off? i'll have to check it out in the morning
