Okay guys I ran the codes on my car and got codes 217, 542 and 566
1. code 217 states coil slot 3 on the ignition coil pack is bad. I replace the coil pack but same code
2. code 542 states fuel pump secondary failure
3. code 556 states fuel pump primary circuit failure

I had a new 190lph pump put on 2 weeks ago by ford
Should I try replacing the plug to the coil pack

Thanks

Check the output connector from the DIS module and the connector into the coil pack. The code refers to the coil #3 circuit and could be a wiring or connector problem or even internal to the DIS module. The coil pack would have been the first thing to check though. Sorry that didn't work.

I believe that wire routing is part of the much larger engine wiring harness that runs around the firewall side of the engine.

I'd have to look at a wiring schematic daigram for the wire routing and coloration, but I'd check each of the conductors for continuity between the DIS module output and the coil pack. If you find a bad wire, route a new one. If none are found to be bad, check the connectors and tabs for breakage or corrosion.
