running a power wire

wheres the best place to go through my fire wall in my 94 with like a 10gauge power wire?

Right above the brake pedal. In the engine compartment, it's under the master cylinder, but it's impossible to see unless you know where you're looking. Go at it from the driver's footwell with a flashlight. You'll see a rubber grommet with nothing going through it. Get a boxcutter and cut a slot in it (an X works well). Make sure you route the cable on the driver's side, away from all the signal wires.

It's where the ATX shifter cable comes though.

I prefer to run mine under the car zip tied to the brake lines and coming through one of the drain holes in the trunk....but that's just me...
