rpm's a little high

would anyone know of what reasons to make the tack idle at 1800 rpm it just started doing it this morning, it use to always idle at 900 now after it warms up it stays between 1500-1800, what could be the possible causes? thanks

Sounds like a vacuum leak. But also check the throttle body to make sure its not sticking or the plastic cruse portion is not holding it back.

i checked the throttle body nothings seems out of the ordinary, i know 2 years back it was sticking because of broken front motor mount and it would kink, but it would stay up at 5,000 rpm when that happened, could this have anything to do with the clutch i know i need a new clutch
