I finally bought a crank sensor to finish my front 60k. I've got the timing belt, water pump, front main, gaskets, and oil pan gaskets ready to go. I also picked up a rod shifter to change out too. I've read up about swapping the shifter out, I think I can do that. I almost had the front 60k done but gave up. Anything I'm missing or advice to be given?

Take your time. Label stuff /baggie stuff. Give yourself alot more time than you think it should take.

Cam sensor had been done, and I have the cam seals and an 1 1/4 PVC coupling. I'm nervous about doing them though. I've read they're easy to screw up. I plan on this and the suspension taking 2 weekends at least. If it takes longer no biggie. I went 8 months without it. What's another month?

Take your time, if you don't have a right angle drill, buy one for drilling the holes in the back cam seal, then insert screws in the seal, pulls right out.

Get one of these tool kits, makes it easy. If you have to use pvc, glue a cap to one end, it will make it easier to hammer on and to crowbar the back cam seal. Don't hammer the crank seal, fashion some coller and use the crank bolt to bring it home by tightening against your home made collar tool, again, the correct tool makes it easy
