Hey guys, my rod shifter is broken and while I have since found out how to fix it, I don't know what size bolts I need.
Basically, The 2 studs that you bolt the rod shifter onto snapped. I was told that I could pull the center console off and grind or drill these out of the mounting plate from the top and replace them with bolts. I want to do this but I don't know how long or what size bolts to buy. What sux is I have to work till 7 tonite and I want to fix this when I get home. I am hoping Walmart hardware dept. will have what I need. My wife is gonna watch this post and if anyone posts what I need, she is gonna call me at work so I can grab the stuff on my way home. If anyone can help I would really appreaciate it. If you need more info on what I am talking about, post it and she can call me if she needs to.
