Alrighty, I have little experience working on SHOs, aside from waterpumps, breaks, belts and removing cams....How hard is it to replace valve cover gaskets and spark plug tube seals. SHOTimes didn't have a section (that I saw atleast) on how to do this. Any help would be....helpful :p

remove the intake, remove the valve covers, take off old gaskets and tube seals, press in new seals, replace gaskets, bolt it back up, drink beer and enjoy a job well done

There's a 'search' link in the upper-right-hand section of the forum pages that will help you find the information you're looking for...

Have you ever worked on a V8, or at least seen a car show like hotrod tv? It's basically the same thing except all the work taking off the intake runners (which only the real time constraint) Mark the parts you remove for replacement or better yet take a couple of pictures (closups) in any area you see a bunch of disconnects.

Some have debated sealing the plug gaskets with Black RTV for good measure. I thinks it a matter of preference. I did it after reading such debates and watching the 60K video from CincySHO. I too had my doubts about doing it. Honestly, cleaning the IAB by itself was more time trouble... :D That pesky bottom bolt:D

Keep the floor clean, you bound to drop a bolt or two.. otherwise it's about has simple as Shonuff93 said.

use ultra gray RTV. Superior resistance to oil.
