I was in a very minor accident in a parking lot recently. The other vehicle poked a whole and cracked my headlight housing. The lightbulbs all still work. Was wondering if you have to get a SHO specific headlight assembly or could I get any one and just install the HID lightbulb and ballast from my old one? Has anyone done this?? It seems to be several hundred dollars cheaper to get headlight assembly for other models. Thanks in advance! Appreciate all the useful information in this forum.

I think sho headlights have hid bulbs and other taurus have halogen bulbs. So the connections on the headlights will probably be different.
