I did search to little avail. How hard is it to remove the PS pump? Mike Holhut said 10 minutes, but he has probably done it many many times.

Whats the first timers time lookin like?

Take reservoir hose off of pump.
Take high pressure hose off of pump.
Remove pulley.
Take 4 bracket to block bolts loose.
Pull out pump and bracket.

well since you put it in those terms... :nut:

So there is enough room to take the pully off with a pully puller without having to move too much stuff ... good

Thanks Paul

I've never had to use a puller to get the pulley off. Hardest part is the belt.

ff an UDP was to be considered get the crank one. Much simpler and no mismatch problems.

Cool thanks Paul for your help - gotta do the dreaded job of the alternator and had some goodies for the motor, wanted to get everything done in one shot.
