Found this while searching craigslist. 82k original miles, garage kept. Current owner has owned the car for 24 years. Needs clutch and a steering rack so he told me when I called him about it.

For $1500, go get it. If I wan't back in school I'd at least make that drive and give it a once over.
My first SHO was a 90 in that currant red. I loved and hated that car!

I would, but I am just starting a new job and I am pretty wrapped up restoring my 69 tbird. I just don’t have the time or room for another vehicle. Hopefully someone here picks this up. I believe the current owner owns his own auto repair shop as well.

If my overtime wasn't cut at work for the first time since I started there i'd go pay the man on friday. What a great deal especially considering everything up here I ever owned or saw in person had rust on it.

I bought it. Thank you for posting this. It saved me from painting my turd and putting my engine and quaifed trans in it.

The car is in great shape it was repainted with a single stage paint thats has very minor peeling on the bumper edges in a couple spots. The worst spot of surface rust is on the bottom of the passenger door its weird its there and under the trunk lid. Underneath is unbelievable. Interiors not bad compared to the turd i have now.

The ps pump belt is loose, the temp sender or wiring is bad, theres no lights on, on the dash. I think the relay in the ccrm for the cooling fan is sticking or the fan switch is the cause, ecm?. Sometimes when you turn the key on or start it the fans come on immediately. Ds seat bottom is shot rear seats are faded on top, radios inop, rf strut bearings shot

The only thing I care about is the body and not having to work on rusted junk anymore. Although my sho mostly sits now. I have a 100k engine with new cylinder heads, a quaife trans and a jose short shifter i may put in, but honestly im not crazy about the shifter. I wanted one for years and it was a let down. Prob a nitrous kit i got from a parts car i bought last year, tokicos/eibach that also came off it
