Does anyone sell a complete rebuild kit which includes ALL the gaskets, piston rings, bearings, valve seals, ect.? I'm sure it would command a good buck but I really would prefer this to buying everything seperate. I'm sorry if this has already been posted however I did try a search, and I couldn't seem to get the proper combonation of search criteria. These exist for all the domestic V-8 blocks that I know of... Why not the SHO

BTW: For a 3.2

I got a DAYUM good rebuild kit from TranStar...and it had all but the planetary gear and one of the forward pistons. It only ran me like, $240 at that. Add in a $90 valve body and a $110 Remanned TC, and I was GOLDEN!

It's irrelavent whether RCM is a forum sponsor or not. Each and every vendor that sells parts for the SHO has an equal place on this forum.

Also, you're incorrect about the rebuild kits. AutoZone DOES sell a complete engine rebuild kit for the SHO. The kit is manufactured by "Hi Tech", whom I've not heard of before. AutoZone lists engine rebuild kits by this company for both the 3.0L and 3.2L SHOs.

Although it's not one of the forum sponsors, i'm obligated to say that you will find the most complete kit at RCM. Even there , it's assembled manually by him , there's no such thing (anymore) as a full kit. Link : http://home.earthlink.net/~rcm_automotive/index.html

All things being equal (cost, item availability, time required for shipping) I buy from sponsors. Otherwise, I reward the vendor that does the best business, with my business.

And given that: 1) currently Russ/RCM is the only online SHO vendor that has the equivalent to an engine rebuild kit; 2) and that there is only one forum sponsor - SHONutPerformance - who does not, I see no reason to slight *any other vendor unless their service warrants it.

I'd beg to differ.

Opinion noted.
