Really?? You've obviously never run a successful business. Nor could you with that attitude. Communication and customer service is what makes a company successful in the long term. If the guy's too busy to respond to customers he obviously needs to hire some help.

I can (almost) understand a delay of a day in returning emails. Any more than that is simply bad business.

We were the largest SHO vendor when we were open. I answered about 30 - 50 emails a day. This isn't a large market guys.

Emails asking about order updates take seconds to respond to.

Look at all the positive posting for ShoSource. Almost every one of them mentions feedback and communication on orders and shipping. Prompt delivery or immediate explanation. If you don't think this type of service is lacking in the SHO community, just look at the ShoSource threads. It is so rare that, when it happens, people make a big deal out of it, when it really is just the way businesses should be run.

If you can't give ALL your customers respect along with taking their money, get out of the business.

Ordered $300+ in parts from them recently and got everything in one week just like all other times ordering from them! :thumb: in my book but who knows might have just gotten lucky, never tried contacting them though

Finally got my order in yesterday, but couldn't pick it up until today cause the people at the post office are stupid.

soo from feb 16th I paid for the order - feb 26th I paid extra for shipping, to march 6th when the order was actually shipped out, and finally got it today march 26th.

I'm just happy I got everything.. guess its better to wait over a month than it is to never get the parts.

Well I for one have never had any trouble with RCM, although to be fair I have never contacted them about an order after I placed it.

They may be trying to improve communication. I placed an order which shipped in two separate packages. The mailman left the first one, but the second one needed to be signed for so I got a slip saying to pick it up at the Post Office. A couple day's later I also received an email from RCM letting my know that my package was at the post office and needed to be signed for etc. They even went so far as to tell me how many times the post office is SUPPOSED to attempt delivery (3) and how long they are SUPPOSED to keep it before returning it to the sender (10 days).

I don't know about anyone else, but I have never had any vendor personally notify me when I needed to pickup my package at the post office. Sorry some of you are having problems; that sucks, but RCM has always done OK by me and I will continue to order things from them as long as they have what I want at a good price.

Cheaper after shipping than rockauto? Personally, I would never purchase anything form the guy. I can get better prices elsewhere, faster shipping and good communication. Nothing is sold there that is not sold elsewhere (where do you think HE gets it ... likely from Rock Auto)

sent an email to him at around 12 one of these days this past week, and got a responce within a few hours that was what i was asking and more! hope i dont have to post a negative about these guys they seem pretty good!

Well, I elevated my dispute to a claim, which RCM had until 4/5 to respond to. In character, no response. What kind of a %*&((*&^$^ business is RCM. And, since RCM is really just a person, what kind of person is Mark? Doesn't even have the decency to respond to a claim filed against his own company? Doesn't feel the buyer has a right to know why his order has not been delivered in almost two months? Doesn't believe that a buyer has a right to be updated on orders when the buyer sends numerous requests asking for an update? Thinks two months is not unreasonable to wait for SHO parts?

At this point, no excuse short of death is acceptable.

Yes, I am angry and upset. Mark took my money and left me hanging. Keep doing business with him and perpetuate this behavior. I am sure it will eventually come around to each and every one of his supporters.
