Radio Antenna

The power antenna needs to be replaced on my 93 sho. Where is the cheapest place to purchase an antenna? What about the "universal" power antenna's has anyone had any success with one of these?

The replacement mast is about $45 from one of the discount Ford parts suppliers.

My experience with any "universal" replacement parts is that they almost fit everything, but never fit any of them correctly.

The replacement mast from Ford is about a 10 minute job if you don't have to open the motor housing to extract the broken flex cable. Add at least 45 minutes if you do as you need to remove the wheel and part of the fender liner.

Use either the Ford Replacement mast Part #F3AZ-18A886-A List price about $40. For a cheaper solution the Harada #FD-6 List price is about $20 and is the same. Try AutoZone or O'reillys.
