Radiator woahs........I think.

Ok, I am confused. here is the situation.

In the summer, when it got really hot out, my temp needle would go real high. In between the O and R. but never above. so I didnt let it bother me.

Now that it is almost 20 out, the temp of my car stays very very low. It rarely rises above the first line above the C. Also, when i first start my car, a low coolant light comes on, but I have plenty of coolant. After the car has been driven and "warms" up. I restart it and no low coolant light. what does this all mean?

I just replaced the t-stat & temp sender in my 91. It was staying on the line at "C" also. After, it works fine. Do them both once you're in there - they are right next to each other.

I believe it's the RT-1112 t-stat & SW-2328 (??) sender, from memory. Check it out at fordpartsnetwork.com or shonutperformance.com. Good luck.

I would replace your thermostat and temp senders if it has been a while just for preventative maintenance. I would be surprised if your temp gauge went to the O because once my temp gauge reaches R the fan turns on.
