well my rad side tank is leaking hard again.. i temporarily put some cold weld stuff over the crack but its starting to leak again so i figure i'll replace it now.

i was just wondering,
with the sho radiator (94 atx), can the side tanks just be replaced or do i need to replace the whole radiator itself?

does anyone make all copper or all aluminum radiators for these cars? Mine is starting this leak shit again, and I'm not a happy camper about it. :madflame:

I went through 3 radiators called go-dan, one a year, all failing at the tank seam. They finally admitted it must be a design flaw and refunded the money. Replaced it with a Modine from Napa and it's been dry for 3 years now.

We got a guy here that redo rads.

He replaces only the core , and re-clamp the plastic sides to them.

Saving money , yea , for how long?

that is the question. Id rather go new.

I've seen one SHO with an all metal radiator. The guy said that it came from the shoshop....you might want to inquire with shobros and see if they know how to get a hold of one.

well my side tank was cracked since a little accident in the winter time. now its just progressed to a bigger crack. so i think the plastic ones should be fine.
another question. my mechanic has a rad from a gen 1 sittin in his shop. would that fit in a 94 or no?
if not i'm just gonna pick one up from napa
