Radiant barrier wrapped around air intake plumbing

Has anyone experimented with wrapping the air intake and associated plumbing with radiant barrier? This seems like it would keep the air entering the engine cooler and thus maintain a more consistent HP and TQ throughout the year.

People have lined the inside of the airbox, and rarely the exterior of the pipe (if metal) leading away from it. Does help a little.

Coatings >> wrap for longevity, but also relatively pricey.

Yes I have my K&N air pipe wrapped with DEI titanium. Leftover from the downpipes.
