Well the rad went out on the 98. Its sitting in the street peeing onto the ground. Looked and saw the tank is wet on pass side half way up. Now how much of pain in a-- is it to replace it. I see you have to remove the upper support. Has anyone found any easier ways to do this.

Haven't had to do this yet but you need to drop it out the bottom. Should be a write up on the v8sho.com website.

Dropping out the bottom isn't very hard...hardest thing for me was removing and installing the transmission lines

Exactly what he said. The lines on the passenger side really suck bad getting them in/out and I recall something else being a PITA in regards to those too but without seeing the car I did in front of me I can't remember for the life of me. The hard lines, couplers, the bends, etc. Damn brain fart!

Not worried about the lines, going to put a after marker cooler on and reroute them anyways. I had to do the same thing to my 97 Expedition, i was surprised it didnt have a factory aux cooler on it.
