Racing fuel?

I used the quick search and couldnt find anything on this. The AmeriGreen station up the street started selling 100 octane recing fule and i was wonderin if anyone puts it in their SHO? or would it be safe to put in mine

I'm pretty sure its unleaded, My uncle runs it in his 67 once in a while to "clean it out" in his words.

I wish stations around here sold 100 octane...:frown:

unless you've tunned the car for to run on that high of an octane, you will not get any gains from putting say, 91-92 octane in it. IF you have access to a tuner such as a tweecer and can push the timing farther enough forward to take advantage of this higher octane its pointless.
