Ok..... ill explain what the SHO is doing =]

first of all... its a white 1994 ATX with 260k's on it (canadian)

when i turn to the left at any speed over 30 kph (um 20 mph?)
there is a thump or thunk type sound from the front.. a momentary squirrely feeling then all is good... however the steering wheel is a bit off center to the left... 10-25 degrees

when i turn right at any speed over 30kph
there is same thump or thunk sound... same kinda squirrely feeling for a sec then all is good... except now the steering wheel is about 10-20 degrees off center to the right..

Im pretty sure the car needs shocks desperately... but im not sure the shocks could cause this..

It has new transmission, new ball joints in the front, new axel or half shaft or whever you call it. the subframe was completely removed for the trans overhaul, and replaced by Mr.Transmission
Anyways.. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
Crispy

Sway bar end links could also cause a clunk on turning. As I'm sure sure you are aware, with that high of milage most everything in the front end is well-worn enough to be a potential clunk. Good luck tracking it down! :thumb:
