SHOs before HOs
Seeing as they're hard to get, i really dont want to replace it unless i know its the problem, but im really out of all other options i can think of.
Does anyone have a picture of the quadrant installed? Ive seen the thing itself but i cant feel it when i reach under the pedal nor see it Is there a walk through anywhere?
So the only reason i can think of that my clutch is slipping is that the quadrant never adjusted. The clutch was aligned properly, it was put on with the engine out. The fly wheel was re surfaced, the bolts were torque'd to the proper pounds and in the proper order. There is all new seals and its not leaking oil anywhere i can see.
So the only thing i can think of is the quadrant. I've read there is a certain procedure to put the cable back on where it fastens to the transmission, you push down the pedal first, pull it up something or another.
Well i just muscled it on. When i did a search for quadrant, i found the procedure to make it adjust, tried this with no luck or click noises.
Also the pedal grabs very high is this any indication of anything? I wouldnt think it would grab so high being brand new. Maybe its the type of clutch? spec stage 3 with sho nut TOB.
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this and lend a hand, im getting the itch to row my own gears now that its getting nice out.
