i did my trans in a few days by myself in the driveway. i would imagine the engine would take a little longer, but i was also taking my time.

I pulled the engine and trans out of my 92, then pulled the trans out of my 94 and stuck the 92 trans in. Took me one FULL day. It is a straight forward job if your up to it

It took about 4 hours for me to disconnect everything on the motor to pull it from the top. The only time I had help was taking the hood off and actually pulling the motor.

If you only want the motor, as Jason sez it's about a half-day job to take it out the top. Dropping it out the bottom requires dropping the tranny and subframe, and then you'll need a front-end alignment, deal with the steering rack, etc. It's less work taking it out the top unless you want the tranny out as well or want at some other things.

3-5 hours out the top.. Easy job. Just lots of disconnecting. Put towels over the front end and the fenders so you don't accidently ruin your paint if it's nice and you bump it with th motor.

yeah definitly dissconecting and takign everythign out of the way was the hard part. Just make sure you unbolt the flywheel and make sure you know where all the bolts are, i was trying to putt one out of my car and i didnt know about the 2 bolts from the passenger side.:thumb:

Sellinthecarpics009 thats the front end. im taking the engine another guy takes the tranny and the other guy wants the rest of the car - the chassis so front end alignment dosent matter... lol the previous owner hit a deer but engine has 195 *** km/s on it

there are 4 bolts holding the subframe in. i guess i should have said it took me a few days in the driveway, and that was with work too so I didnt have much time each day.
