Thanks guys....while the vacuum tool works, it's one more thing I have to clean, etc when I use it.

Maybe I'll just do the drill n' tap. I think I saw instructions for the this on these pages...

If that's the case then why not just put in a "yes" vote instead of complicating things with your special request for a catered response to the poll? That's ok, next time I run a poll I'll be sure to include bibs.Screenshot 20200719 220134 Chrome

Point of order, as well as for viewer's edification.....

Polls are NOT VIEWABLE via Tapatalk.

Least not yet.

That could be part of the problem as far as participation and/or vote tallys/results.

Your poll asks if we done it. No I haven't. Id rather do it by the side plug. But its not hard to drill and tap it. No need for me to have a drain plug, literally takes not even a half hour to do a fluid change by the side plug.

Well, I think it's improved vastly since its original release.

And continues to improve with new and regular updates.

A viable option for those on mobile devices. Certainly better than nothing.

Well good sir, my apologies. I mistakenly assumed that you would want to get ALL the fluid out.

No need to really. Get as much as you can out and keep up with the service. Like a tranny, you never really get it all out. Just most of it. I don't wanna try that hard anyway. Most of the fluid being new is good enough for me.

The first time I did do it twice in a short amount of time to kinda flush it. Now I just keep up with it every 10k miles. Just what I do.

10k miles is around a year for me also

Yeah, I just leave that side plug in there, it's so much easier with the plug at the bottom. Not only do you get every ounce out, it also makes less of a mess. But to each their own...it ain't the only way to skin the cat.

I really like the IDEA of tapatalk and I use it on my phone, just wish it was a little better. I like having all the forums I frequent in one place with out having to open a browser and logging in all the time.

If it was a PITA to get to the side plug i would have a bottom drain plug put in no doubt. First time on the side is hard but once you got all your tools and the know how from your first time. Its actually pretty easy. Getting that side plug off the first time wasn't easy also.

I have always used my browser. Your Note 8 should work great with browser.
