Money wise......... Is it going to be a deposit then the rest when it made and ready to ship??? 5k upfront is alot of money but I may be able to spread it out over 2 months or so if it takes that long to have them made.......

Yes you are correct. Once 10 people sign up I will ask for the depost. Then you will have 2 1/2 to 3 months before the other half is due.

Quick update on the gear sets:

5th gear will also be included and will be heavy duty. So 1st thru 5th will be HD. For those people that want to do the mile race and need to go into that gear, you are covered.;)

Gears are rated for 500 to 600 HP

Warranty will only cover manufactures defects. It will not cover over hp rating or abuse (i.e. not shifting fully into gear) or bad installation.

I also updated the post on the Group Buy.

I Just got back from Chicago, went to go meet with the manufacture. Very good company with lots of experience.

Add me to the list!

And to all who are on the list already, and wanting this GB to happen, let's do some advertising and get this thing from maybe to for sure!! ANYONE you know that has a forced-induction SHO NEEDS one of these gearsets. Sooner or later, they will blow up 3rd gear, and risk damaging their Quaife, lose valuable time that they could spend enjoying their SHO, and they also use up what is becoming a precious commodity, MTX-IV's.

So get out your address books and contact whoever you know that has a FI SHO. Let's make this happen!!

I would love to jump on the list but $5000 is just too much for me ( dont get me wrong,I understand how much quaility machine work cost )now if it was $4500 it wouldnt seem so bad.

NovaSS, the good thing about this is that you don't have to come up with all the money at one time. We have 7 signed up so far, and when we reach 10 I will collect $2500 from each. It will take about 2 1/2 to 3 months to complete and I won't ask for the other $2500 till then.

$5000 for a gear set is by far the best deal going. I have worked and talked with many companys about doing this and their prices were 3000 to 4000 dollars more. Like I said, I've looked and looked.

Here's what I want to know
1. Input shaft diameter and spline count
2. gear ratio
3. analysis of ball bearings versus tapered roller

Here's what I want:
1. bigger input shaft diameter
2. ratings up to 600ft-lb and 800hp
3. no noise
4. longer 1st gear because the current one is way way too short for any car over 300fwhp

I don't understand why Honda trans are handling 700chp and 400ft-lb of torque, the only difference I see are the bearings

Get me this and I'm in.
