Ok so here seems to be my heat problem. I'll try to describe the best I can. Pretty much my heater seems to blow the same temperature air regardless of what the climate control reads. Its not cold, its more luke warm (I'd ball park it at maybe 70/71). Sometimes it'll just change and blow a blast of cold air outta no where but if you move the temp down and back up it goes back to the same degree temp as before.

I lean towards whatever device determines what temperature air should be put out by the system is malfunctioning, but I dont know what device that is, or how correct I am.

I appreciate any help.

Thanks, Paul.

How does your temp guage behave?

Might be a thermostat bad.

Might be the heater blend door control motor or controller bad.

You didn't mention the year and whether you have auto climate control (I assumed you do). If you do, run the AETC self test as described on the FAQs web site at www.shotimes.com

Check the cleanliness of the Ambient temperature sensor located behind the SHO logo in the passenger side of the dash. Dirt can act as an insulator.

this is probably isn't the case, but my cousins Super Coupe did that, and he replaced the thermostat....well...that wasn't it. He had a blown headgasket :(

I do have the auto climate control... and its a 91. Usually it just blows one temperature air regardless of the what I put the climate control to, its not cold air, its just kinda luke warm. I can change the speed of the air (ie the fan still works) just not the temperature of the air. I'll check the things listed and get back (how do I check for a bad thermostat).
