I followed the How-To for regreasing the rear window motor, and my donor motor that is now moving my window glass rolls down when I press up, and up when I press down. I'm not sure how I managed to do this. Any thoughts?

WIRES REVERSED?
I believe the harness is keyed but theoretically would having the brushes on backwards cause the same problem?
I just did my rear motors on a 94 and am looking at a spare motor now and even trying it's not possible to get the brushes backwards or put it together wrong and still have it work at all. Like you said the harness is keyed but if the wires were cut and put together wrong. If I remember right the drivers door motor will swap with passenger rear etc. Not sure what you got the donor from or if that would effect anything.
I guess I could repin the harness. I'm going to take a look at my original motor and this one and see what is off. Definitely a strange problem.
