I hope this a simple fix. The antenna will go up, but of course refuses to go down:nut: I can hear the motor running. Seems like something is not on track.

Thanks in advance

search twice. post once.

power antennas have a plastic cord on the bottom. it breaks. a search will turn up many threads on how to replace it. masts can be bought on ebay or at the dealer, this isn't a part you want to go to the JY for.

That there is what you need, the teeth on the mast get worn and viola, no more working antenna. Luckily the replacement is cheap and is easy enough to replace. Take off the front passenger wheel, take off the plastic fender shroud, unbolt the motor from the fender, remove the top chrome piece with needle nose pliers and a cloth (cloth to prevent scratching), remove the motor, take off the black circular cap to expose the cord, take out the cord and replace it.

Instructions come with it, dont worry :)
