Powder coated intake.

Im takeing apart the intake this week. I would like to replace the valve cover gaskets, because I noticed a small leak the other day. While I have the top of the v8 off I want to take care of as many small maintainence items as possible. Would it be a good idea to change out the back 4 spark coils at that time? can you suggest any other things for me to look at while im up there tearing it apart?

I have a professional friend that does powder coating, so Im going to have the intake on the Gen III done. Im not really sure what colour im going to like yet, I was going to take a look around the shop at some sample stuff and see what I like. By all means feel free to send some ideas for colour my way.

And of course I will get some befor and after pics for everyone!

If you are ripping the intake apart, yes swap coils rear to front. And if you are taking the coils out you might as well put new spark plugs in there as well. Cams welded? If not get that done too. Get about 10 cans of Berrymans and clean the runners, and if you feel up to it take out the lower intake and give that a thorough cleaning. Check and make sure your IMRC cable is not frayed. Give the TB and MAF a good cleaning, change your oil and change/clean your air filter.
