Hello all,
I am currently tuned by gearhead and in my logs it shows that I could possibly have a boost leak with what the data shows. The boost drops but than will regain more pressure. I've been trying to find a leak but can't seem to pinpoint it. Last night I decided to pop the hood again and "brake boost" up to 2k to see if I could hear or see anything . Once the car started to build boost it was making what sounded like a 'growling' noise before the BOV would blow off. It only happens under load which makes me believe it's turbo related. I plan to bring it in this week but thought I would bring it up here to see if anyone has an idea. I will post YouTube video to go along with the post. Thanks in advance!

I'm not in a position to listen to the video.

Our cars can run on one turbo if the other fails, however there can be a lack of volume of air in certain situations.

Usually the turbo that's quiet has failed and the noisy one is the one thats working, for now.

You can use a bore scope for a visual inspection without having to remove the turbine ductwork. After figuring out which one is which with a stethoscope, a long screwdriver, or pry bar to your ear.
