Let's revive this ol' thread eh? I figure there might be some fresh paint jobs from the summer which haven't been shared [enough] yet. Share your fresh under hood shots before winter sets in!
I didn't get anything done during the summer, but sure did this fall. I'm putting my SHO back together this week (weather permitting) and gave it some freshy freshy while it was apart. Here's a preview...

That was about 9 months ago, it's since had the timing covers off and painted, and the water pump, and the PS res. is clean. I just havn't had it clean enough to take a pic since the 60k in july.

Wherever I see the red/silver combo, I love it! Maybe I will do something like that, to match my SHO. Looks good guys!

Thanks. But LOL, my pictures are horrible. Those were taken with a $75 Kodak point-and-shoot digital camera and the images were completely untouched. I wish I still had photoshop to do some color adjustments. I do have a friend that takes killer pics with his ridiculous Nikon.....like this.....

Yea I've been seriously considering it and I "borrowed" two of my mom's fine tip paint brushes last time I was up visiting, she's an artist. Reinstallation went smooth today. The car didn't want to start up at first. It had juice, cranked, but wasn't firing. I kept trying, and it finally fired. It seems to run well, next I need to diagnose the growing smoking problem it has :nut: On to the final product!

Two Yamaha built machines in one garage...sweet:)

Here's my 1998 SHO and 1989 SHO, and even my YZ 250! I pretty much only buy Yamaha built things...
