Here's the reverse Halo glows at night on my wife's gen III......looks the exact same as mine do, but for some reason, I've got mine dimmed enough so that they don't show up on camera.

has anyone ever wondered how come the ebay ones "look" more professional than the speedhut ones? even tho you pay alot more for the speedhut - the ebay ones more closely match the stock ones (especially where the low-gas light is and all the text).

yeah iv got a set of the ebay ones in my F-150 and there nice, only complaint is the needles dont light up anymroe and its kinda hard to see them at night but I can deal for 75% less money then the speed hut ones. Although i really lie kthe speed hut ones they look really nice and the quality is probably a lot better:thumb:

Cant resist...I LOVE my gauges. Even though everyone has posted thier Ebay gauges... Only thing making mine differnet is I have the "Old" style bezel where it looks sorta chrome, or very fine brushed. Not coarase and cheap looking.

Also...Those autometer Lunar gauges...They dont match as well as everyone told me. Im still getting them tho.

They're pretty damn close. The color isn't spot on, but it is EL being just a tad off on color and the writing style matches the gauges perfectly.

I believe Bizzy once posted that she used a red colored marker on the needles, which may have helped illuminate them better in the dark?

Speedhut only comes in green or blue for the lights, but if you get a different back ground like red, yellow, etc.... they will light up differently. They offer a lotof different options and we offer everything Speedhut does at SHOBros.

if you mean color clear needles red, my needles are already a bright red/orange, they used to light up but now the new cheap ebay gauges dont have the lights behind them anymore.

The needles has nothing to do with the gauge faces, the bulb behind them burnt out.

My "cheap" Ebay Halo gauges have been in my car for over 2+ years, still look and work just as good as the day I got them. I also thought their built quality was just fine, and looks a lot like unassemble Speedhut gauges I've seen as well.

I'd say I still love Jelloslug's dash setup the best. What did you do for a stereo stack now Mitchell? whats below the CD player head unit?

My concern is that I want a set of Halo's, but I want them in km/h instead of mph for up here in Canada - The speedhut ones look like they'll do - but they don't have a halo set :(

FWIW I got used to my MPH Halos very quickly, the km/h part is red and stands out from the rest of the gauges and I have absolutely no problem reading the gauge at all.

Yeah, I'd like to know what that is too. It looks like a Ford OE part like a minidisc player or something? Also what brand gauges are along the A-pillar? Dakota Digital? How old and how well have they been holding up? The green text on mine have all blown out cause of the bumps the SHO takes.
