Hey everybody, just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. I'm Don and I'm located on long island. I'm contemplating on getting a SHO with the performance package. I would actually be trading in my mustang for it , but I need something that will be more streetable for my everyday commute. Can anyone chime in with a similar experience, I want to make sure I'll be able to enjoy the SHO as much I think I will.

Sgreeting welcome sign general 100 109Don,
You can't go wrong with AWD and 365 HP... The 3.16 gear W/ PP will give you extra seat of the pants.
If your commute is over 40 mi Maybe a non-PP would be the ticket.
Or maybe a PP SHO and a Toyota POS for the commute!!!:D

Definitely recommend the SHO but not so sure about the Performance Package especially in Long Island, Remember Summer only tires, so keep that in mind...My Buddy in Pacific Northwest traded the Eagle F1 for Continental DWS........The reason I know this is the F1's are on my NON P/P SHO.....I can get more out of them here in Dallas. Also remember NO SPARE.

I do plan on changing out the tires if I get the performance package. And if I remember correctly you can fit a full size spare in the trunk in that case.

My commute is actually 20 miles one way so I'm not all that concerned.
