POS won't start.

So I was driving along, going to work when all of a sudden when I push the clutch in it dies. I pull it over, try to start it and all it does is crank. I think I might be out of gas so I put some in it, same ****. Then I notice the fuel pump doesn't prime, or make a sound at all. I call a friend , get a ride, get on the forums and see it could be the ICM. We tap on it and it works for about half a second, it primes for half a second that is, then when I try to start...nothing...tap on it a lot more....nothing. I call up Ferendon and he says he has an ICM so we drive all the way out there, get it, put it in...same ****. No prime. Nothing. I tap on it all day, nothing....back to square 1.

WTH could be going on if it isn't either ICM, then what is it? Why did it work for a split second when I hit the other one but this new one that Ferendon gave me does the same thing? Is my fuel pump out or could it be something else, something cheaper? It's parked right now at some sign store about 5 miles away....so if it's easy, and cheap, then I'd like that so I don't have to tow anything.


EDIT: Today when I cleaned the positive wire I moved that little wire that goes onto the terminal from ABOVE the plate that holds the big wire to BELOW it so it may not be contacting it, and I've seen on hear that it's related to the fuel pump...could THAT be the problem?
