I am looking for a place to return oil from a bypass filter to the low pressure side of the oil return in the engine.
I noticed what I believe to be a 3/8" plugged tap on the engine block above the pressure sender.
Does anyone know if this or any other plugged tap on the engine (that is not used) is on the low pressure side of the oil return passages to the oil pan?
I thought about tapping into the oil pan, but I'd like to avoid that. The return from the oil bearing for aftermarket turbos is usually installed here. I assume tapping next to the oil level sender would not interfere with anything.
Any suggestion are greatly appreciated.
