2015 SHO w/ Perfomance Package. I am buying some gauges, planning on doing Boost and Oil Pressure. I've figured out how to tap in to the oil pressure but I am confused on where to tap in for the boost. I've heard many different spots but I want the best/most accurate. What is the best spot?

Thanks, Chase.

You can get a OBD Bluetooth connector, cheap android tablet and TorquePro and see those numbers and many, many more.

Currently working on a Tuner specific gauge pod for the center speaker, I havent dabbled with the A-pillar yet mainly because its flooded with universal pods and we have the tweeter to deal with in our cars. But I have been tossing around some ideas for a phone mount off of the A-pillar so that may evolve into a full pillar gauge set or at least one that attaches to the pillar. I am reviving my original 3d post to showcase some new product, keep an eye on that thread for new stuff. I am heavily on FB and eBay but this forum was the birthplace of my business so I intent to continue updating everything here.

i would like more utility out of the pillar for sure, its the best place to not be in the way and provide utility.

and that pesky airbag...
Because of the airbag I would likely only do "clip on" style attachments that clip over the existing pillar. No matter what, if the bag goes off- what ever is in front of it is going to shatter, best chance at not getting plastic shrapnel in the face is to have clipped on so maaaaaybe it just blows away in one piece. This limits wire routing to the edges or for the brave, they can drill the pillar, but the idea is it can be set up and wrapped in any orientation and style (universal but made to contour our cars specifically). With the limited space on the dashboard for phone mounts, gauges, and other things, I felt the same way, it would be nice to have a modular bracket that can be as simple as a couple inches with a phone mount, up to almost the length of the pillar for full gauges. Still digesting a few designs (one of yours in particular @kryptto ) so it may be a few months before I have a functional pillar concept but its on the list for sure

The best spot I've heard is the large vac line running across the firewall on top from the intake near the TB, to the brake booster, tap as close to the TB as you can for better accuracy and avoid the valve closer to the booster. If you havent found a way to tap thatt vac line yet, I am working on a design to print that provides a coupler and stem (somewhat of a Tee) that can go inline with the large vac line and a regular vac hose can be routed out of it to the gauge. I rigged a Tee inline with mine with limited equipment since the size difference doesnt exisit in a Tee that I could find, I put in a Tee for the size I needed to run to the gauge and clamped a hose over the top of the line I tapped into. It's jenky to say the least so I am developing something a little cleaner and purpose built. Ill make a write up on it when I have it made

Do you have any pictures of how it looks? Would love some reference material. Thanks
