not bad for a "junk yard" style build.

By the way, how many dime a dozen small displacement DOHC V8's are out there?
Not bashing the work but isn't putting a roots blower on the SHO kind of taking away from the "SHO" of it? After all, without our special intake manifolds we would just be another dime a dozen 3.0L V6, or in the Gen III's case, small displacement V8.
The V8 in the LS.....
Thunderbird 3.9
Volvo 4.4 (made by Yamaha)
Jaguar 3.6, 4.0, 4.2
Aston Martin 4.3, 4.7
Land Rover 4.2
I they're all some variant of the same engine.
I know of two SHO's that have M90's on them that have not had to alter the appearance of the stock intake manifold.

that would include me as well

It was mounted on the side of the block where the A/C compressor used to reside.
So it isn't a roots or screw-type, but a centrifugal?
Nope, roots sitting on it's side with the charge pipe going up to the intake.
Interesting, seems like alot of trouble for what could be done with a centrifugal unit.
Sure.

You still get the instant torque from the PD blower.
Right, positive discplacement is the way to go, IMO...don't know about on the SHO because of traction problems and the MTX-IV but on other cars...heck yeah.
Most guys that would mod something like this up know the limitations of the SHO and only use the power at useable speeds. It sucks but that is one of the problems with this platform unless you like breaking parts that are getting harder and harder to find.
