You guys make me so envious... I really wish the SHO owners in Nebraska could get organized like that. Looks like it was a lot of fun!

That trunklid does look tons better. Hunter is the man. I did that same thing to the hood of an early 90's GMC truck...you would be amazed what you can do with a little compound and a buffer.

Killer!

Killer meet, all. Good times, and an incredible turnout! Thanks for helping us SHO that the GLSS convoy can roll in force... Even on a holiday weekend! :thumb: Heck, we even pulled people from non-GLSS states! LOL!

17 SHO's and for the doubters- the now proven-to-exist SHO powered Mazda 626 4WS in the 'Zoo... Sounds like a great meet to me!

Pretty much the ONLY car worked on was Calypso's 93 MTX. About 13 people did a 60k on it and it took all day.. Fun meet, and it was definitely a great turn out with 17 SHO's, a SHO powered 626, a Tempo with a SHO tranny (SHempO), 2 bikes, 2 Volkswagens, and a Buick LeSabre.

BTW, does anyone know a good place to get my KYB's and Intrax installed? Someone mentioned Belle Tire, and I might try them, but I'm still open to suggestions.

Try as they might-A gen3 -geared,chiped & FPS'ed- just can't quite keep up with my 95ATX! It was a perfect night for a fun run to *** & still pulling! She was Purrring tonight.
Great meet, perfect weather, spectacular turnout,Don & Ken M.-too bad you could not make it up to witness an awsome group of people helping each other out & sharing knowledge. Chris & Michelle-great pick of an eatery on the way home! Thanx to Tim & Mandy for hosting! I'm tired, it's 2AM-I'm going to bed.

well, once my computer decides it wants to upload files, I've got a few pics to throw in the mix.

Overall, good times.....I think we scared a few years off matt's life when his car came back from the test drive smoking, but thankfully, it was an easy fix (I think Chris and I set a new intake removal record....between the two of us, it only took about 5 minutes).

I wanna thank everyone for coming out. We had a wonderful time, and from the looks of things, we may have to have another one to fix the 626........

And there lies the infamous broken ladder that was almost the demise of Chris......

(PICS UP) Alternative Tech Meet pics (MAYBE NO 56K?)

So everyone has seen the cars, etc... Here are a few alternative pics to entertain... Sorry for the size of some of these, Photobucket is acting up for me for some reason.

There were so many camers there, some of us needed to be entertained by taking pictures of each other taking pictures...

TechMeetSep_2_2006013bb.jpg

The intake experts are working on Calypso's intake...

TechMeetSep_2_2006008bb.jpg

So the rest of us mill around for a while...

TechMeetSep_2_2006004.jpg

Some of us (like me) continue eating... Again. And the chili was absolute kick a** especially with the Hemmorhoid helper!

6fcd8a08.jpg

Meanwhile, about a half-hou... uh... 10 minutes later, Chris is STILL "expertly" going as the looks of disgust grow... J/K Chris  all of us have issues with SHO parts, especially if the car has NEVER been serviced in it's life, right Calypso? Way to stay on top of that, hustler...

TechMeetSep_2_2006011bb.jpg

So then we moved across the street for some pics where Chris attempts to climb the 12-foot widowmaker for the "aerial shot..."

TechMeetSep_2_2006025bb.jpg

...then comes down after we see that SuperHO owns a ladder with three good legs.

TechMeetSep_2_2006026bb.jpg

So Chris decides that this is a safer idea...

TechMeetSep_2_2006027bb.jpg

Again, killer time by and for all. Hope to meet up again with everyone soon!
