Okay I am a new owner of a 2018 taurus SHO non performance package, I am wondering if it is possible to get the steering tuning from the performance package added, I plan on autocross racing my car and it would be really handy to be able to lessen the stability control it tends to not like how sharp I am turning yet I know it can handle it with some of the PPV versions I have driven.

The turning radius on these cars have not been very good from the very beginning. Interested to see how this goes.

Yes it is. It is a simple change with ForScan. Just connect, click the option, reboot.

I have an old spreadsheet I'm looking through, but I don't see anything about stability control in forscan. I do see you can enable and disable torque steer compensation as well as steering weight and feel for regular vs performance pack.

Sorry I was replying to the steering tuning from the PP. That is under PSCM - Steering weight and feel. Heavy is the PP default. The stability control would under AdvancTrac in the IPC menu. Not sure if you would need to add the button in the console or if that would allow you to disable from the menu.
