does the long 1/2 shaft lock into the trans like the driver side? i can not get mine to lock in. or does is it get held in by the center support .:munch:

The passenger side does not lock in like the drivers side does. Thank goodness.

The passenger side innermediate shaft on the MTX is NOT held in by a C clip.

The large coupling slips over the splined intermediate shaft on the passenger side of the intermediate shaft bearing. If you got the old shaft out, it should be quite obvious where the new shaft installs. I thought there was a C clip on the intermediate shaft's splined section that inserts into the CV halfshaft's female coupling.

You are correct Pat. The only C clip on the passenger side clops into the innermediate shaft.
