Come on no one knows???

I have another question. Is there a way toget the "air diverters" out of the air vents. I the ones that move the air up and down??

Thanks

Good quality masking tape will work fine. NOTE: I the part has a heavy grain to it turn the part so the section you want to paint is on the bottom so the paint won't want to seep under the tape as bad. The vent louvers pop out and the whole thing will come apart into individual pieces. I have had the best luck using dawn dishwashing soap directly on the part then rinsing it completly before painting it.

Thank you! I will try to get those vents apart! They are all in great condition so I didnt want to break something that wasn't already broken! lol.

Is there a certain kind of paint that one should use when painting parts in the interior?

Just curious....thought about painting a few things myself..nothing to drastic...but to accent it a little. boink

I have found that almost any paint that is made for plastic work well but the best I have found is made by SEM. You can order it from Eastwood and most automotive paint stores have it. The key is proper surface prep. If its covered in Armor-All and soft drinks even the best stuff won't stick.

Here are some pics of my interior!! That i painted with just normal spray paint that was ford blue. I say prep work is the key!! Make sure There isn't any thing on the part that u are going to paint like manboo. or any thing else. O yeah please note the camera made my interior look a little green instead of ford blue... Enjoy!!
