painted my XM antenna today

Would it have been possible to have it sit as close to the end of the trunk as possible as to not see that wire?

yeah i'm gonna move it closer and pull the wire tighter, i just ploped it down to see how it would look

Thats a great idea for the ugly antenna :thumb:
I think you've got to keep it so far away from glass though.
So the signal is clear(as if).
I have mine ran out the moonroof.
It looks good but I think that is what killed my moonroof motor :madflame:

Hope the paint isn't metallic. I remember in the Navy some Boatswains' men painted the radar dome making the radar useless.

The flakes in metalic paint are actually plastic or mica, it won't affect it all.
