Hi folks, new member and have found this forum to be extremely helpful. Hope I put this in the correct place. Any help with my issue will be appreciated.
My situation: Bought a 96 135k, mint interior and loaded, paid $1300, welded cams, new bridgestones, and everything works (except keypad entry light, oh well). Anyways, it had a 0301 code, needed an east west brake line, and air isn't blowing cold. A little surface rust in a few spots, and golf ball size hole in drivers side rear fender, low right behind tire.
What I've done:
Moved 1 coil to five, then to 8, misfire follwed me, replaced coil, issue solved. While doing that it threw a new p1413 code and I noticed a whistle at start up but unfortunately the whistle seems to have disappeared. Removed rear intake completely, as opposed to just lifting it out of the way like the first time while changing out coil 1. Did this to check for any broken/missing vac lines as I lifted fairly ******* it. I'm sorry I did that. Found nothing and reassembled. Removed bumper shroud/splash guard and checked SAI pump buy feel and it runs for the 30 seconds or so and shuts off. So I disconnected the hose that hooks to the metal tube just below the egr (I believe this is some diverter valve?) cold started the engine and can hear the flow as it is fairly loud, then after the 30 secondds it shut off. P1413 says low voltage but the pump is running, I'm confused? I clear the code everytime, the initial start up the code stays off and the second time you start it the code comes back within 5 seconds or so. I assume it's because the PCM doesn't see it initially.
I also read that a misfire will disable the A/C, anyone know for sure?
While I'm off to attack it again, any replies will be thoroughly examined and greatly appreciated. BTW my buddy wants to give me $2,200 for it, but in NY it's worthless with DTC on. Thanks again...
