My outside air temp reading is very slow to respond to increases in temperature. If it's 50* when I park it at night, and 80* when I get in it the next day, it takes hours for the display to climb to the proper temp, doesn't seem to have any trouble when the temp drops however.

I have already replaced the sensor in front of the radiator.

From what I've read in the Ford manual, the sensor feeds straight into the EATC and an internal circuit translates the resistance signal into a temperature display. If you've already replaced the sensor your only two options are try swapping the EATC or there's a short in the wiring causing resistance distortions. The wire is RED with an ORANGE stripe. It should read 5 volts coming out of the sensor and at the connector on the back of the EATC (pin 1, also Red/Orange stripe). If you're getting 5V at the EATC then I would say it's the circuit in the EATC.
