Motorcraft cables for my 89 were around $120 for the harness around a year ago. I found generic, clear-cased 2-guage cables of adequate length at Advance Auto Parts for about $15 each. None of the other local parts stores had a cable of sufficent length/guage to fit without fabricating it.

You will need to pull the old battery cable harness out, measure each leg, and probably use a couple of ring terminals for the smaller (10-12 ga) wire connections.

i just noticed that forspecialists.com sells a battery cable kit for $60, why so cheap? Is that everything I'd need? :confused:
