Old Timer but new back to the site

Was a member for years but kinda lost touch. '89 that I've owned for over 26 years with 217K miles still going strong. Considering buying a '90 with low mileage and possible SHO Plus package but not sure how to determine if it is a partial or complete #212A option. Car has the bulge hood and rear spoiler, along with police grill (not Plus option) and polished slicer wheels. Any ideas on the best way to determine if it was built with the complete Plus option?

Are these 2 different cars you are looking at(90 and 91) or does the 90 have the Plus features. If it's a 90 it is not a Plus. The Plus option was 91 only.

The only sure way to tell a Plus from a non plus is the stainless trim around the windows. All the other plus features can be added pretty easily. The stainless trim is a real hassle to source and apply.

Thanks for the info, the one I'm looking to purchase is definitely a 90 model, previous owner must have installed the Plus items and the police grill, really just interested in whether or not the upgraded shifter rod has been installed. My 89 is/was black but has a lot of patina now...lol
