Okay, before I find out in the process...

So, is there anything I should know about running the speaker into the SHO doors that makes it "Oh so fun"? I'm gonna get into replacing the speakers and wiring them into my amp in the trunk... For some reason, just splicing into the wires that lead to the speakers in the wire loom didn't work, so I'm running wires to each speaker and upgrading them in the process...

If you removed the amp and spliced into the wires near the stereo, it won't work. You have to run a bypass or splice them in the trunk to the front speakers.

About the only way you'll get a wire into the front drivers door is to drill a hole..

Ran the bypass, speakers didn't work... We tried splicing them in the trunk... Didn't work.

The drivers side door loom goes through a big connector in the door jam so the only way to run new wires it to go through the connector or go through a new hole.

on the drivers side, I ran a speaker wire along the same route as the door loom, then ran it to the speaker by cutting a small notch into the door panel, where it meets the door. It's visible for 2.3 seconds as I get into and out of the car.

On the passenger side, I used a wire clothes hanger to fish the speaker wire through the door loom.

Ok, the fun that was... I had to loosen the E-brake mount so I could fit my hand in there to fish the Hanger through... Then the fun of running it throught the door itself... Remind me NEVER to try this again...
