My statements have been proven time and time again. Not all filters are created equal. Many independent studies have PROVEN this.

Even 10 year olds can jump on a forum and claim to be a "master mechanic"

And even if you really are, you need to realize that when you make false claims, or technical claims that you cannot back by facts (claiming to be a mechanic doesnt count ) on a forum that has VERY educated, experienced, and knowledgeable members, from all walks of life, you will be confronted. If you cannot deal with it, thats a fault on your end. Tough beans.

Hardly bashing. Simply correcting. And when somebody like yourself starts making such claims, then resorting to "Im a mechanic, I know it all", most will just sit back and laugh their tails off. Think about it. One of the primary reasons for many car forums, especially this one, is to AVOID mechanics. Please dont tae this personal

$20 filter? Actually, a motorcraft FL1A filter costs me less than $5

Even the huge Motorcraft filter for my powerstroke costs less than $15

ive been using Castrol GTX high milage in both my Civic and my SHO(s)
it seems to help slow oil leaks some too.
